Steward Beaver and Governor Stouffer agreed to work with Governor Harlan to research the position’s equipment requirements and report back in a few weeks. Governor McCarthy moved that the Board approve the position description and authorize President Roth to interview candidates. Governor Crocker seconded. Governor Grasso made a friendly amendment to increase the budget outlay for the position from $7,000 to $14,000. Governor Jones made a friendly amendment to raise the outlay by up to $14,000. The motion carried. After further discussion, President Roth agreed to send the Governors an e-mail with the language of the motion and position description for an online vote.

President Roth asked the Board to look over the Constitution ahead of annual elections so that other areas can be considered for revision with a membership vote.
