Current Cases: There was an update on current cases.
Proposed IP Pilot: CREA submitted a bargaining proposal and possible ground rules for negotiations. We are waiting to hear back from management. There is a lot of confusion among staff about what can and cannot occur (e.g., moves) while bargaining is on-going. Discussed the formation of a negotiating committee and how to communicate with the affected staffer members and get their input.
Senior Level Analyst/Lawyers: There are 9 people within the bargaining unit affected by this. There appears to be inequalities in performance and pay determinations between senior level employees in CRS and those in the rest of the LOC.
All Staff Meetings: These will be held on March 16th and 17th. Management failed to fulfil their requirement under the CBA to notify CREA of the meetings.
