Anniversary Update: It is tonight.
Election Update: Post cards have been sent. The elections will be held at a table near escalator on the 6th floor from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Notice went out asking for poll watching volunteers. Need someone to put together the annual meeting.
Budget: Motion by Gov. Stouffer to approve budget as presented (with thanks to Phillip). Seconded by Gov. Reeder. Passed unanimously.
Pope Visit: Reportedly, the Library is allowing episodic telework on the 23rd. There is confusion about what CRS is doing. CREA will ask about flexibility is moving compflex or telework days. There will be a check point getting off the Capital South metro on Sept 24th. Staff will need to show their badges.
Policy Review and Amendments: Changes in CRS policies will be posted on the webpage, but it is not clear how staff will be informed. There is no consultation that has happened with staff.
Possible Shutdown: Management is working on a procedure where analysts could be called in even if they were not emergency personnel. The question is who is necessary for Congress to fulfil their duties.
