Changing of the Guard.  BOG was reminded that today is Keisha Johnson’s last day, Wanda Almanzar’s first, and also the last day for Secretary Alison Siskin.  The board congratulated Keisha and Alison on their service and asked for their reflections. Alison Siskin formally resigned her officer position during the meeting.

CREA Mid-Year Update:  Feedback was requested on the report to the BU; discussion ensued.

Congressional Hearings: CREA input was discussed.

Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group:  The status of the group’s report was discussed.

Credit Hours Survey:  The current results were discussed and it was agreed to send it around once more with some clarifications.

Pending CRS Policies and Actions:  BOG discussed CRS management’s draft policies on “ensuring objectivity” and “parliamentary assistance”, as well as commenting on two upcoming surveys on alternative dispute resolution and an assessment of IT needs.

IP Pilot: The Board discussed the status of the information professionals (IP) pilot program and related bargaining between CREA and CRS management
