Office Administration: CREA received many applications for the CREA office administrator position. We have made an offer, and more information will be forthcoming.
Telework Agreement: CREA submitted a proposal to reopen the telework side agreement on May 23, 2016, and put forward a four-member bargaining team. CREA will pursue the issue of Metro disruptions separately from the side agreement.
Formal Discussions: The Board discussed CRS’s track record in notifying CREA of formal discussions, in light of CREA’s grievance on the subject.
Senior Level Employees: CREA is working on a variety of issues related to pay and performance for senior level (SL) bargaining unit staff. CREA will consult with its attorneys on retainer to evaluate options, in coordination with CRS’s bargaining unit SL colleagues.
Metro SafeTrack: CREA and the Library’s other two unions have asked the Library and CRS about their plans regarding impending disruptions to Metro. The plans still are forthcoming.
IP Pilot Program: CREA has held meetings with many staff affected by the CRS information professionals (IP) pilot. CREA’s officers will meet with CRS management to discuss problems and issues.
