Lucy Martinez volunteered to serve on the Library-wide Hispanic Heritage Month Committee.  Lucy works in the CRS Program Section as a Public Affairs Coordinator.  She has been in CRS for a little over a year.  She came to the library from South Florida where she was an Event Coordinator for about 5 years.  She decided to volunteer for the Hispanic Heritage Month Committee because she believes, ” … it’s important to support my culture and demonstrate to people from other cultures the beauty and richness of being Hispanic.”  Many thanks to Lucy for volunteering to serve on the committee.
