CREA is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Library-wide Hispanic Heritage Month Committee.
The national celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from September 15 through October 15, 2008. This month is set aside to recognize and highlight the many contributions Hispanic Americans have made to this country and to the world. The Library is forming a planning committee of staff from service units, labor organizations, and staff organizations to join in planning this observance.
The first meeting of the planning committee is scheduled on Wednesday, July 29, 2008, at 10:30 a.m., in the Affirmative Action and Special Programs Office Conference Room, LM-623.
