Thank You. In addition to many informal conversations and words of encouragement, Erin received more than 15 responses to our request for help. We appreciate both the substance of your comments, and your enthusiasm for participating in this process.

Current Status. Based on your comments, the law, and the Office of Personnel Management’s part-time materials, we have amended the existing Library part-time regulation to create a working draft of a Statement of Principles and Policy for Part-Time Work at CRS. The draft is attached for review. After our meeting, appropriate modifications will be made and the draft will be finalized and approved by the Board of Governors. We will then present our recommendations to CRS management.

Next Steps. Please review the attached materials and come discuss and improve the working draft. The meeting will be held this Thursday, July 24, 12-1 PM, in the Collaborative Work Center, Room C, LM 222 .
