Nominate a Coworker for the Director’s Awards

Under the terms of our Collective Bargaining Agreement, CRS staff may nominate coworkers to be candidates for incentive awards. Currently, nominations are open for two Director’s Awards. The Director’s Award recognizes excellence in work serving Congress. Information from the Director’s Office describing the purpose and recognition of this award is included below. More details can be found in the Director’s Statement. Please consider nominating one of your coworkers.


Director’s Awards

Purpose

  • Recognizes excellence in work directly or indirectly serving the Congress — in research, reference, analysis, and writing, and in operations, service, and support — that significantly exceeds the normal standards expected of employees and serves as a model to be emulated by other employees

Formal recognition

  • Plaque presented to the recipient by the Director at annual awards ceremony
  • Plaque inscribed with the recipient’s name located in the Office of the Director

Submit your nomination by interoffice mail to Bruce Krafte, LM-208, mail stop: 7500, or by e-mail to PerformanceMGMT@crs.loc.gov, with “Director’s Awards Nomination” typed in the subject line. The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 15.
